Greetings dear friends and fellow water protectors,
Our hearts are breaking now as flames continue to engulf Los Angeles, as they broke when Hurricane Helene swept away entire towns in September. We are experiencing now what many have been predicting would happen and facing this reality can make us feel powerless and overwhelmed.
We also learned about a recent report, widely circulated in mainstream media, that confirms the primary message of “Water is Love”: “Decades of destructive land use and water mismanagement [has put] unprecedented stress” on the global water cycle, aggravating climatic disruptions, fueling extreme weather events and threatening global food production.
We know you don’t need more information about what is going wrong.
That’s why “Water is Love” focuses on what can be done.
A world of ever more catastrophic drought, floods and fires isn’t a foregone conclusion.
Through restoring water cycles and ecosystems, Earth’s natural climate regulating systems, we can make the world a place that’s habitable for all beings, that is regenerative, honored, and abundant.
Can you imagine the Los Angeles basin as a rich water retention landscape teeming with life?
Can you imagine the Colorado River reaching the sea again?
What about access to clean drinking water from a full well in your village all year long?

In 2025, our goal is to reach 5 million people to support this planetary shift towards regeneration. Will you join us in our mission to create ripples across the globe through synchronized screenings, conversations, and opportunities to connect and network?
Starting on World Water Day, March 22nd - Water is Love will finally be available to stream on our website! We invite YOU to host screenings in your community, online and in-person, to bring the conversation to your watershed, to start local water councils, and to fortify the relationships and water work that is ongoing in your region.
If you would like to join others around the world to host a synchronized screening for World Water Day, sign up here.
During the month between World Water Day and Earth Day, April 22nd, we will be hosting online talks and workshops that inspire and encourage action.
We are inviting organizational partners to join us for webinars to share about their efforts and how people can get involved. If you are interested in hosting an event with us to share about your work, please email us!
Do you have a large online following? Join us as a Promotional Partner!
As a promotional partner, you will make at least 3 social media grid posts between March 22nd - April 22nd, with your unique affiliate “link in bio,” and email the link to the film on March 22 to your newsletter subscribers. In exchange, you will receive 35% of total donations from people in your network who watch “Water is Love.”

If you have networks at your disposal or know people who have large followings, please invite them to join our outreach campaign and put them in touch with us.
Water is Love: Ripples of Regeneration is a documentary about rehydrating the landscapes around us through community-driven decentralized water management. We know water politics are complex and the rules are different wherever you go - AND everyone can do something to help water to move, to encourage healthy water cycles even if it’s “just” in your own backyard.
Thank you for being a part of this movement of regeneration - we need each other, and water needs us, now more than ever.
With Love & Solidarity for the healing of Earth,
Emily Coralyne, Martin Winiecki, Isabel Rosa & Ludwig Schramm
